Abyssal Depths

Located Northwest of the Shores of Plenty, connecting the Golden Sea and Mera's Kingdom. It is the place where the sealed-off spark of Destruction resides.

Landscape

A giant maelstrom going all the way down to the bottom of the ocean. At its center is the vial of Destruction. The entire vortex is raging with lighting everywhere, with many sharp rock formations piercing out of the water. The waters around it are filled with enraged leviathan-class ocean life.

Flora

While the flora mostly consists of the same flora you can find anywhere else in the oceans, they have a slight distinction in their evolutionary path. Most flora in this ecosystem has evolved to either be covered in thorns, highly poisonous, or even slightly explosive.

Fauna

Normal Peaceful wildlife cannot exist in this environment. Tiny fishes that get too close to the influence of the spark usually end up dying from getting into beef with the bigger fishes. The bigger fishes usually either end up in the belly of the leviathans or die to the local flora. Leviathans are the only creatures that can actually somewhat thrive in this environment, though even they are in an endless state of rage and will attack anything and anyone in sight.

Due to its extremely treacherous nature, sailors completely avoid this area.

Trivia

• The chaotic state of this area is completely caused by the aftermath of the voidwar, which ended with the vial of Destruction descending into this part of the ocean.
