Tempus is the Voidling of the concept of Time and currently resides at the Tempus Peak.
Role
While Tael already had a spark of Time within him during the world's creation, it is weak and not nearly as developed as a pure Voidling of Time would be. So, when Tael was created, Timestreams were already part of the level, though they laid dormant. That is until Tempus came down from the sky, awakening the streams.
As the god of time, Tempus ensures that the timestreams are flowing continuously at the right speed.

History
At the end of the Voidwar, the concept of Time was one of the many sparks that landed on Tael. This spark landed in the middle of the Ohmar Jungle and was shortly after gifted with a life by Tael. This however started to turn the wheels of time, yet uncontrollably, in the Jungle, which quickly caused it to die down completely. The effects of time kept spreading until the entire continent was eventually nothing but a dead wasteland. Eventually, though, Tempus slowly learned to control the flow of time and isolated the effects on its home, which is now called Tempus Peak. Once time was under control, Tempus begged Tael for forgiveness for all the life that was just erased from the world. Tael, however, showed no signs of grief: "No life was erased anywhere, everything affected still lived their life to the fullest, it was merely gone by in an instant for anyone observing. Everyone still had their stories to leave for the future. You merely sped up the inevitable, and by that, you showed me that i too, still have lots to learn when it comes to maintaining life."
Delighted by Tael's reaction, Tempus shares his knowledge of time with Tael, which ultimately starts the flow of the sands in the whole world, just under full control by Tempus.
"Only with time can life evolve, and i will ensure this world has all the time it wants."
Nowadays, he spends his time with studying the time streams, the lives they carry, and ways to control them better.
