A race of Nocturnal pillagers, acting in the name of Raku'uun.

Habitat

Urban Rakuuns

Usually close to civilization, but far away enough not to bother anyone. Rakuuns can most commonly be found anywhere where there is a great occurrence of trash and junk lying about. If a city is too big for them to reach the inner areas easily at night, they tend to set up little bases in sewers, cellars, or any other sort of hiding place spread throughout the city.

Wild Rakuuns

Wild Rakuuns can be found in forests, where they set up their own little settlements.

Anatomy

Small and sometimes chubby, these little creatures usually walk on 4 feet; though, sometimes they feel like two is enough. They have grey fur and black paws. Their tail, while it looks extremely fluffy, is actually just their storage for all the junk they find. Their heads are small and pointy, with fur markings resembling a little black eye mask.

Behaviour

Rakuuns follow the calling of their creator, Raku'uun, and secretly grab all kinds of trash and junk throughout the cities, bringing it back to their little workshops and turning it into amazing new things, be it either tools, gadgets, or decorations. Occasionally, they will gift those creations to the people they took the junk from, but more often than not, they just keep it for their own to enhance their lifestyle. They are extremely talented in sneaking around and staying in the shadows, helping them grab junk unnoticed.

Wild Rakuuns

Wild Rakuuns act slightly independent from the call of Raku'uun and decide to live on their own in the woods. They still have the natural urge to collect and tinker with stuff but are often limited to whatever the forest gives them. Occasionally, they send out a "strike team" to collect a bunch of junk to bring back to the forest village so the inhabitants can satisfy their urge to tinker. As these rakuuns have less experience in pillaging from civilized areas, it is not uncommon for them to be spotted and shooed away. They also sometimes trade with the urban rakuuns with forage from the woods in exchange for junk from the cities.
