Miriath Fareye
Miriath is a Professional Fatereader and part-time gambler. After her long cooperation with Maximillian, he eventually offered to ask Hue to Fatecurse her, as she has become a vital part of their operations. With the people she pisses off with her gambling "skills" in mind, she did not even hesitate to agree.
Character
Miriath is a ~600-year-old human willingly cursed by Hue to support the Fata Dener. While the Fata Dener considers her an essential ally, she is still an independent fate reader and owner of "Fareye's Farwatch," a little store in Vincere that offers Fatereadings and other magical utensils.
Connection with Hue
Due to Miriath basically being Max's personal fatereader, Hue has a special interest in her. Fate readings are usually predictions answered by random Fateshifters or read straight from Fate itself. However, Miriath's readings are pretty much always answered directly by Hue herself to make sure that she sees exactly what Hue needs her to see. This caused them to become quite acquainted over time, sometimes even going out for a drink together.
History
To become(?) Fatecursed
"We both know how much trouble you somehow attract all the time, and considering how..."
"Yes, yes. Just go ahead with it already!" Miriath interrupts Max as he is trying to explain the gist of it.
"Excuse me?" Max answered.
"Did you really think I wouldn't know since my morning coffee that you are going to come in with such intentions? I already had all day to think over it, and my decision was clear before I even finished that coffee."
"Honestly, makes sense now that you mentioned it. Let me call Hue over."
Max starts to randomly aim his crossbow at his neck, and before he can even blink, the crossbow's rope snaps and Hue stands behind him.
"How about just trying to call my name like any other normal human being in this world? I swear to me if this is about that Ludwig guy again..." Hue exclaims.
"Where would be the fun in that, though? And no, whatever it is between you and Ludwig, this has nothing to do with him. You may know Miriath here?" Max replied.
"Hey Hue, how's it going?" Miriath throws in.
"Ooh, heyy, long time no see. How long has it been? Ten, maybe fifteen minutes? Anyway, yes, I know her. What about it?"
"You know how you basically fatecursed my entire family at this point? Well, she is basically family at this point too, so..."
"Oh? Uhm... this is kind of awkward, but hey, at least I guess I have your permission now!"
"Wait, what, what do you mean?" Miriath reacts.
"I think I may know." Max replies as he prepares to throw a knife at Miriath's throat.
"Hey, stop it, sheesh... Yes, she has been fatecursed for a few months already by now. No need to test it." screams Hue.
"Oooh, cool..." Miriath says with a smug face, clearly already imagining all the shenanigans she can pull while gambling.
"Well, you seem to take that quite easily. Please don't be even worse than that guy here," Hue begs.
Miriath is basically completely lost in her mind by this point, with an ever-growing grin on her face.
"I guess that makes things easier, anyone else i should know off you already cursed?" Max tries to distract from the already concerning giggles coming from Miriath at this point.
"Mhhh, nah, none you should know off, gotta keep the surprise up! But i will take my leave now, that girl is starting to give even me the shivers..."
"Understandable, I kinda wanna get out of here too..."
"Great, let's have a drink to forget that cursed face, please..."
"Count me in."
