Type of being | Bacteria |

Average Lifespan | Very Long |
Average Size | Microscopic - Gargantuan |
Common Locations | Silent Ocean |
A Microorganism with a connected network of sentience. Their most notable and known occurrence is the Silent Ocean.
Habitat
Living in Water due to the easier mobility, Hivejellys can be found in bodies of water of any size. However, their main hive is located within the Silent Ocean.
Within Shattratath's Realm
The Hivejellys that are local to this realm are technically unaffected by the influence of Shattratath due to them not having enough consciousness to have any fears and not having any natural predators. However, since they instantly share their consciousness with creatures they come in contact with, the creature instantly feels the full effects of the hivejellys within the realm.
Anatomy
A glowing organism forming the majority of inhabitants of the Silent Ocean. Its most distinct feature are its hive cores that are set on the ocean floor and its tendril like armes reaching out into every direction, sometimes even getting close to the surface. The cores are all connected with each other via thick tendrils along the ocean floor. The entirety of that organism forms one giant brain reaching across most parts of the Ocean as well as deep into Shattrataths Realm.
Behaviour
Creatures that come into contact with the organism instantly share their thoughts with the entire network. However this connection works both ways and the hive also shares all it sees, knows or feels with the creature as well. Which is where the danger lies. As the network goes deep through Shattrataths Realm, the creature instantly sees the horrors that lie within. While many creatures die instantly due to shock and drowning, some more either brave or stupid ones may shortly live through all their nightmares and fears imaginable, with some not even known to the creature yet itself. Eventually they either succumb to a heart attack, or sooner or later drown to them being pulled down by the Hivejelly tendrils.
While most victims are simply turned into substance for the hive themself, as there is barely any food to begin with in this ocean, some are turned into silent agents. These silent Agents serve only one purpose, to lure more of its kind into the grasps of the Hivejelly. A silent Agent is not connected to the Hive anymore once they let go, but they will always have the mysterious desire to bring people to the Silent Ocean.
