	to ~~be continued~~, ~~me tired~~		Quartz was born in the Ashen Steppes, where she studied the teaching of fire magic under the supervision of Nero himself. She has a very defensive, but also reactive temper, causing her to sometimes self immolate when stressed. As one of the grand wizards of Nero she has sworn to protect the royal tree with her life, which she does so from within the desert of Ohmal, where the timestream of the tree is extremely vulnerable. To protect the timestream, she uses her fire to cast the sand around her into sharp glass, which she then swiftly throws at her foes with telekenisis while the glass is still glowing hot.
